After installing a security camera since neighbors were stealing my first set, I went with these and couldn’t be happier. With these, you have the option of the lighting color. I definitely prefer the warmer tone. Adds a touch of richness over the colder white look. If they steal these, at least I’ll have them on tape!

ordered 10x total and all worked great except one did not work out of the box.
Unscrewed the base and noticed a loose wire on the battery terminal - easily fixed with a soldering iron.

Although I checked the measurements several times prior to ordering - the caps do not fit - the inner dimensions of my post are 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" and the outer dimensions are 2" x 2" - this meaning the aluminum post on the railing is 1/8" thick - I could not get your lights to fit even with the extra post bracket you included
Our porch posts are 4.25" which is an odd size so was relieved to find this web site and what I needed. Arrived very quickly!

Unfortunately, so does someone else in my neighborhood who twice now has been stealing them off my front fence. I swapped out the typical phillips screws for the stars head screws. They came back with the appropriate tool to continue their theft.

The Solar Post Caps took minutes to install and work perfectly. They stayed on for about 12 hours which is great in northern Michigan where it is dark from about 6:45 pm until about 8:30 am this time of year.
