We have small fence posts and had been looking for quite some time for lighted post caps. We searched online, read the reviews and consumer reports, then ordered from Classy Caps. We are VERY happy with our purchase!!
Very nice product not junk at all very well made to last
these have been so far after 2 weeks of usage pretty good they look great and they seems to be constructed well.
Battery will be nice if it had larger capacity

I feel like the battery might need to be updated so stays illuminated longer during after hours

These white lights are absolutely stunning. The first time i saw them was in a neighbours yard and I asked her where she bought them. I said I hope they have them in white (hers were copper)she said actually they do come in white. I ordered 3 of them that day and absolutely love them. I had numerous people tell me how beautiful they are. The material they are made of is just beautiful and have stood the test of time. The first ones I bought were about 12 years ago and they look the same as the ones I just recently purchased. All you need to do is wipe them with a soft clean damp cloth and they look like new. Classy Caps is a wonderful Canadian company to deal with.

I have at least 85 of these caps along my house on all sides. These are by far the best product I have ever used with regards to cap lighting. You will be pleasantly surprised about the quality of this product. I had a few get dropped and cracked so I replaced them. Had many of these caps for 8 years and are still working like a charm.

I had previously written a low review for the 4.5 x 4.5 post adapter which I purchased and I'd like to correct that. I contacted the company, and they speedily replied with very helpful installation instructions for this adapter. (Note: there is a video.) My light is in place, and I'm very pleased with the quality.
Very cool looking and simple design to install.
They only last a year though.

To help extend the life of your solar post caps, here are a few care tips:
• Clean the solar panels regularly – Gently wipe away dust, pollen, or debris with a soft cloth so the panels can absorb maximum sunlight.
• Ensure proper sunlight exposure – Install caps where they receive direct sunlight for most of the day, as shaded areas reduce charging efficiency.
• Replace the batteries every 1–3 years – Solar lights rely on rechargeable batteries, which typically last between 1–3 years. Replacing them on schedule helps maintain brightness and run time.
• Seasonal maintenance – In harsh winters, consider storing the caps indoors. We also recommend storing the battery separately from the light so that the battery terminal does not retain any moisture.

They are beautiful and pretty close match to my wall mounted porch lights.
But a little disappointed in the short duration of being on. I left them open in the house under fairly bright lights for about 3 days. They were in off position. Hoping to get a full charge. First night stayed on almost all night, but since, only a couple hours. I live in the Pacific Northwest so this time of year, a lot of cloudy rainy days.

Regarding the shorter runtime, the issue is likely due to how they were charged. Indoor lighting, even bright lights, doesn’t provide enough intensity for solar batteries to fully charge. For best performance, the lights need to be charged outdoors in direct sunlight. Even on cloudy or rainy Pacific Northwest days, outdoor daylight will still provide a much better charge than indoor lighting.
We recommend placing them outside in a spot that gets as much daylight as possible for a full day or two. Once they receive a proper outdoor charge, you should see a noticeable improvement in how long they stay illuminated.

Ok, they look pretty nice but they actually dont fit the rough cut 6x6 cedar posts well. And the light doesn't last till morning as we thought they would.

The light looks nice and the size is perfect but for 40 bucks I was expecting more.
Not impressed at the length of time they are lit done several test at Sun exposure and they are getting sun exposure direct for more than seven hours. Also not impressed with the length decreasing as it gets colder here in North Carolina. We are about 50° at night and mid 60s in the daytime And most of the nine lights will go out within two hours of elimination. I would hate to think of a colder climate would get virtually. None we will get to 45 as the high and 30 as the low during the next couple of months, I do not expect any elimination. Product does not get two thumbs up from me.
I like the option for bright or warm light. The construction seems decent and super easy installation. I would give 5 stars but I don’t know how long they will last as I have only had them a week.
