This is a fantastic addition to our updated deck... it really "caps" off the new minimalist look we were striving for!
The product is great! Was no instructions about how to use separate 4 1/2” x 4 1/2” mount to change out light for post with sleeve. I think I did it right but would be nice to have instructions with bigger mount to make sure installed correctly.

It sounds like the shorter winter days and limited sunlight might be affecting the battery's ability to fully charge and last through the night. During the winter months, with less sunlight, it’s possible that the batteries aren’t getting fully charged, which can impact their run time.
While the lights will still work throughout the winter, you may notice a decrease in the duration of time they stay lit due to cooler temperatures and less sunlight. If you choose to bring your lights indoors for the winter, we recommend storing the battery separately to avoid any moisture buildup on the terminals.
Here are the expected run times based on climate:
Northern Climates Run Times:
Summer Months 8-12 Hours
Winter Months 4-6 Hours
Southern Climates Run Times:
Summer Months 8-12 Hours
Winter Months 6-8 Hours

We bought one of these lights a couple of years ago to see how they would hold up and see if we were going to like them. Three years later, they are still working great so I bought the rest. I didn't want to spend a ton of money if the lights weren't going to last. I was able to get good quality lights for a good price. I would recommend these to anyone.

Very nice! However, I wish the framework for the 3.5 x 3.5 post option was a little wider on top of post. As unfortunately it’s the smaller of the 3 options and looks smaller at the top of my mailbox post than I wanted. But, the lighting is great and completedthe lighting job! Thank you!

They are very easy to install. I wish the battery would last all night (winter here, long nights). They could be a tiny bit brighter also.

I have been using these post caps ever since I installed a PVC privacy fence, 12 plus years ago. The last original one was finally replaced this past November. It still works but the leds have noticeable dimmed. They have been very durable in extremes of heat and cold. The new replacements with the switchable,warm and cold leds are a nice touch! I will continue to use them.

These post caps are as advertised with one note and one exception.
Note: The caps actual color is the lighter copper color not the dark one displayed in some pictures.
Exception: These are electro plated which means it is a copper metal infused onto plastic. They are not a hard metal top.
I am going to keep them as I cannot find an actual metal alternative and they are nice. I am just worried about wear over seasons at >$40 per light.
