These lights are worth every penny. They are well made and handsome. They fit my 2X2 post perfectly. I couldn’t be happier. You do need about a 2. inch rise above the fence rail as they slide over the post.

We had bought three different railing post light sets for our new deck and returned all of them. They were incorrect sizes (not as advertised) and poor cheap vinyl quality. Above all, it was difficult to find warm lights. Okay, addmittedly, Classy Caps lights are more expensive...but you get what you pay for. These lights fit our metal 3 inch posts perfectly and they are tight to the post. Everything about these lights is about quality. We are very happy with them. Our neighbors are impressed. We especially love that they come from CANADA!

I've been using my Imperial deck post lights for about 6 years and they are still working. After a sunny day they burn all night. I just recently replaced the batteries.

Product seems well built and mounted to our fence as advertised (no issues or tools required). The lights do provide “good” illumination ( we chose the warm light setting) that in my opinion makes our pool / patio fenced area nice looking after dark. The concern with solar lights I have encountered in the past is the actual solar panel itself, these typically last about 3 years and then have to be replaced which typically means the entire light unit has to be replaced as well. This is expensive in my case based on purchasing 18 of these for our fence. I’m hoping the quality of these is an improvement over past products- time will tell!
