These solar post cap lights were exactly what I wanted to go on the two posts to which my dock is attached. I was looking for a light to mark where the dock is located, but I didn’t want something super bright. It’s now summer time and the amount of light is just right. I’ve been up around 5:00 a.m. and the lights are still lit (about 8 hours). When it gets to be winter time, I’ll see if they stay lit any longer, or if they don’t get as much light for charging ( we are in cloudy N.E. Ohio). I highly recommend these lights and couldn’t be any more satisfied.

In addition to the lights I purchased direct, I’ve also purchased 12 of them on Amazon. In total, 4 of my lights simply stopped working. I’ve tried everything to revive, but ended up just replacing them…which is expensive.

The different adapter sizes was nice and easy to change out. The color was more gray than silver, the amount of light was the same as a night light you would use in your house for a kids room. The battery power wouldn't last more than 10 hours but I was okay with that, you can buy better batteries.
