Bought the Imperial solar post caps and after getting the right ones, took me 3 tries, they fit perfect and have some that have been running for a year now. The painted metal is the only way to go, others shred in the weather.

These are well made post caps that stay lit all night. The only issue I had was that mine did not come with instructions on how to add the adaptor. Once I figured it out, it was easy to do.
