These lights are so much better than the ones with the ON/OFF switches. I am now replacing all of the older ones with the Fairmont lights. I have already replaced the twelve on my back deck and four on my front porch railings. I will be ordering four more at the end of the month for the vinyl fence by our driveway. This fence has six post lights. The one thing that I do is replace all the Ni Cad batteries with Power Owl Ni Cad 1.2 HRG AA2800mAh. The increased in mille amperes lasts much longer even in the winter with the shorter daylight hours.
